Another reading from an Open Mic in September. First time performing this poem! I look forward to getting better and reading again!
A live performance at the Wonderful Olivia Durfey’s open mic in September. Really enjoyed being in the space, including the little Doug theme song sing-a-long.
Dedicated to my friend Paige who had me reading this enough to actually memorize this poem, and took me climbing and drinking enough that I began to love my poem.
A Highlight reading from the Fresh Cuts: Year of the Pig Open Mic. I truly hope that you are working on your things, and that you realize the reason I work so hard on Show+Tell is to give my friends space to showcase their arts. It’s been a blessing to see them progress, and I’m grateful I can be a part of their journeys.
A experimental long form poem, short vignette. Something about This dirty city and it’s fertile soil, against the highs and lows of it’s turmoil.
I hope you like it!
