Saturday Yoga and Mediation

I wanted to build on the great swim I had Thursday and do some yoga. Saturday yoga is at a gym like a mile away so I took the opportunity to jog there and back, to "warm up" against what is an upcoming training season to culminate in the Chicago Marathon.
The job was fine, though my right outer knee continued to bother me a little. I hope this doesn't mean it's something that will affect me long term. Going to "lift very carefully on it.

Yoga was good, not great. joined the 10 minute meditation after. It wasn't as great as the other two times I did it. Partially the guidance from the yoga teacher was slightly distracting, partially I couldn't let my mind drift, partially my body was just a little fidgety, partially just one of those days. It was still nice to give up some time and just relax, so I appreciate the practice. It centers me, and is a great alternative for some mental relaxation/rejuvenation when I don't have time to workout or am feeling particularly stressed.

I really like the word particular.

The run back was a much slower jog, more like a distance pace and I felt a lot better. Also can't discount that the stuff before let me warm up properly.

Tomorrow or Monday is the next one.
