6 miles
without really any problem, got through 6 miles. I did warm up and stretch a lot before hand which really helped. I need to keep that routine of rolling the joints, stretching the muscles, warming up the legs and breathing.
I need to add some distance now, so double around the park, then double long around the park are going to be my next long runs, hopefully getting me around that 10-12 mile range. Then I can start running to and from Prospect. I'd like the get a very regular/easy to navigate run in that like 12-15 mile range. Work on getting that easy, with like 3-4 iterations of that. Then it's a very easy stretch to a marathon.
Find an early marathon, get that completed. Consider going to Chicago again if I have the guarantee, though, Dirty Bird?
Anyway, so far so good.
