Really can’t be mad at that one. Excellent distance. I felt pretty good the entire time, even though lots of sprinting. I caught up to a person in the last sprint back on the last lap. I’d guess I would have finished 1:05-1:08. I mean I was a little annoyed but I had one been hitting/catching people all day today and two been just pretty tired and was satisfied with the good effort on the first 75 and I was looking for no excuse to retry.

It was really crowded for a holiday. There was a group of 3 doing an actual set together in the fast lane, actual swimmers, and I guess they plus me kind of backed up the queue.

Knee felt a lot better, and I tried to keep the breast stroke to a minimum, but even the few laps I did do, felt much better. I’m looking to get in yoga and a chiropractor soon, hopefully before this Gov Ball, but I think I’m going to have to settle for just one. I will at least look for a chiro in my area and see what the appt schedule would look like. Again, not opposed to missing work for this one. I do need it. Things with my body are weird and the more I ignore it the worse it’s going to get.

Anyway. Happy to be in the pool, even though I got to try to get into running sooner rather than later at this point. 5 months…. I am in shape but a marathon is a different animal. Can I run it shirtless? I want to avoid nipple chafing. "Olympic runners use them!" "[...]and that's still the gayest thing I've seen"
