That was pretty good. I wanted to practice in the reserve order to start that tri prep. I was able to easily keep a steady pace on the swim. I got through the 150 fly reasonably w long kickouts. I even felt better on the second 500. So I'm honestly not to worried about the swim leg for the half.
I came into some crazy flash of anxiety during my swim, stemming from the kickboard incident, into the glider, into reading my poetry, into Fozzy and A. I don't know why it came over me, but I breathed, I thought logically, I worked it out. The kickboard was a mistake, though the guy took it hard. The glider was a mistake, but the guy didn't care. Fozzy loves me and I love him. I should fear the open mic, but I want to embrace. Practice hard. WOrk hard. Take all the falls as learning.
Tomorrow is buying a bike.
Sunday should be a run w the new shoes. Peace. Good work. Stretch. Sleep.
