Roll out

Excellence. I fasted for 24hrs. Then I worked out twice. I felt the light headiness a lot in yoga this time, and I took many precautions to crouch as needed, or lay flat as I wanted.

Now that I’m pretty aware of how my body reacts, I can adjust mostly accordingly. This time was by far the most episodes of any work out I’ve done, and I wouldn’t be the slightest surprised if it had to do with the fasting.

Why the fuck do I not eat for 24hrs, go for a run in the cold January winter, giving out high fives to other runners, then yoga, then finish my foam rolling commitment, all without eating, only to pick up writing.

Because I’m the best. And That means I have to be my best. There’s no one in this world or any other worlds that cares about you. That can control who you are. That can make up your mind.

You choose who you want to be, with every step. Excellence is a habit, and you form yours.

Mine are varied for sure. And to some extent, possibly too many. I work a full time job in technology project management. I am a part of a Hacker space that helps me learn more about technology and coding. Meanwhile I host open mics, drink and draws, write poetry a blog and redoubled my commitment to my book draft this year. I party. Hard. Shipfam knows. And I looooove. Love.

But my athletes know I still strive for competition. Triathlons. Lifts. Yogic balance.

See if you want things. You gotta do the things.

There’s no promises of success, so you’ll have to cast your net wide.

But luckily if you’re truly interested and diligent you will find success. And maybe you’ll find weird flexible combinations that will work. See I love writing. I document everything I do. And here we are, blogs later, that says I can write about a wide variety of topics.

That art pursuit also branched my network into a wide collection of artists of all sorts.

That includes many musicians and DJs who collaborate to produce weird and wonderful creations.

My interests in travel will expand my horizons, as I globe trot and document. Mostly to remind myself, but also in the hopes of internet fame.

Swimming has transitioned to irons. Water has given way to land. All of it is in pursuit of meditative peace, the ultimate relaxation.

That same high is found, 3 tabs deep, to the sick nastiest techno you can imagine, on a cruise ship, in international waters, at 6:45AM.

I’m all alone out here. The deepest truth is so are you. And I don’t think there is an afterlife. I think it just ends. Even if there is something out there, we all know that when you die; this ends.

So I’m here for the longshot. The homerun. The shoot for the stars, fuck the moon it’s too close.

And I’mma shoot for as many stars as there are in the sky, because I don’t know which one I’ll snag, but if I keep throwing out the line, and pursuing excellence, I gotta pull something right?

It’s like festivals. You just go to the hardest party you can and you find great vibe. All the fanatics are good people, you just gotta find what they’re fanatic about. The worst people are those who don’t care about anything, or just care about their “work”. You know, like the 9-5 work. That’s uninteresting.
