A bit of a write up of a pretty difficult and memorable year. I’m blessed and happy to have what I have, but no lie, 28 was a challenge.
A recount of the accident that changed the course of my life. It was a horrific experience, and though I am still in the growth phase, I hope that I can continue to get better.
My friends have had some bad days recently, and I am no exception. Even as I continue my adventures around the world. This one is not chronological to the story of my travels, but I believe it is important to share now. Cheers you lovely humans.
A highlight year for sure. Extremely grateful for everyone around me, I love you all lots. Here’s to a outstanding 2019, filled with love, support, growth, expression, and more exploration.

I’ve been a big proponent of meditation recently, and it’s helped me quite a lot with understanding myself better and regulating my mentality. It’s not perfect and I have a lot more to learn and improve. But I’m really enjoying the work and I think everyone can do it and everyone can benefit.
I worked to put my thoughts on paper after hearing about Anthony Bourdain’s suicide. First notification on my phone that morning. Really tough. I tried to explain who a total stranger was to me and why that matters and what next. Featured Reading at Another Open Mic, June 28, 2018
If you're having a bad day [or days], a little tea can always help. I've had some struggles the last few months [early Nov- late Jan ish] and I wrote a bit about what steps I took to feel better. I hope it's helpful advice, if you feel like everything's been a little overwhelming.
An open letter to myself about 2017 and looking towards 2018. I'm proud to have had a great and successful 2017. It was far from perfect, but I can be confident in the habits and skills I honed. 2018 is about commitment and execution, a continuation of the expectations and accomplishments I've set on myself.
It's a dark and scary world out there, friends. Sometimes I'd also rather just sit inside, wrapped in blankets. But we've got ourselves. We've got each other. It'll work out, but it's fine if it doesn't.
