Bike/Run

20 miles, down to red hook, 3 loops of Prospect, back home

6 miles running. Through the BBP

Man I covered some distance today, saw the windmill, explored Red Hook, got to loop Prospect a few times, then ran through BBP, which also say the Statue of Liberty and the three bridges.

It hurt. I got off the bike with my feet literally frozen into the shoes. Had to warm them up with warm water. The run was the slowest I’ve ever moved, barely at any pace, especially in the beginning. But when I settled in, I did actually feel alright.

The ice bath and stretch really helped after too.

Devin mentioned I should be getting my heart rate up 6 times a week. I’m probably 3 or 4 a week right now, but I generally get lots of walking or stretching inbetween. I think I will try to get a little more, maybe add 1 morning. If I can get to a consistent 4 or 5, I think I’ll be good. The trainer would help.
