I wanted to do a quick postmortem and highlight some thoughts I had listening back to the episode!

Sibling Iron Chef: Seafood
Peter and I went head to head for cooking skills. We competed for title of head and sous chef. Two plates each, app and entree, three judges, hour and a half time limit. I narrowly won 102-98.
A highlight year for sure. Extremely grateful for everyone around me, I love you all lots. Here’s to a outstanding 2019, filled with love, support, growth, expression, and more exploration.

10 days in Cusco, hiking the Salcantay Trail to Machu Picchu. One of the most awesome experiences of life. The city is wonderful. The backpacking was rewarding. The ruins were incredible. Some thoughts about the place
I had a weird interaction biking across the Brooklyn Bridge earlier this year. A mere few seconds turned into a whole essay. I’m not sure what it is about. I’m vaguely sure it’s all first person narrative. But I liked the whole thing and I want to talk about it.
Just a privilege and a honor to share a stage I built with talented and beautiful friends; Jared Rosen, Toma, Kayla, Mike Robley, Calvin Smith, Garret Robinson Taylor Bradshaw, Blue Spruce, Alicyn Yaffee, Elijah Sokolow, Peter. I reflect on the night, highs and lows, speculate on some improvements, and have aspirations for the next one! November 17th!
We had an event at The Graham. A friend posed nude and another gave drawing lessons and we collectively drank, flexed our creative skills, and had a merry time. I was overjoyed at the experience and success, really looking forward to building on it and the next open mic, Sat Nov 17th 6:30 to late late, at the same place!!
Or how I am trying to lessen my environmental impact because honestly global warming is a species level threat and I want to be doing everything I can, which includes using less, being frugal, and being forthright about my shortcomings. Plus a little on how I think culturally we could be doing better as well.

I call these reading Journeys Against the Echo Chamber as I try to honestly approach a book from a perspective I would never agree with. Turns out, pretty garbage book. 0.0/5. Bad writing, bad arguments, bad namecalling. I wouldn’t recommend reading it unless you’d also like to see the roots of the current political climate stemming from the anti-Obama rhetoric.
